The Broken Ankle

To make a long story short...I stepped on a paper back book, "Froggy Bakes A Cake," and went flying. I crash landed into a step and an orthopedic surgeon had to repair my broken ankle. I am now the proud owner of 1 metal plate and 6 screws. I see the doctor again in 6 weeks but until then I can't put any weight on my leg/foot. If you happen to see me sporting a lovely knee walker, don't laugh...you never know when a book might find it's way under your foot, beware!

Camping In Oklahoma

Cameron and I drove to Oklahoma with the RA's at church. We had so much fun. Cameron roughed it outside and I had a girls weekend with my good friend Heather.

We drove to Colorado with our church youth group and Valwood's youth group. We had a blast! It was so cold. The lowest reading we got was -17. I can't wait until next year's trip.

Mother's Day Surprise

On Mother's Day weekend our memory tree had it's first bloom. It was perfectly positioned so that we could see it looking out of our living room window. I am very thankful that God gave me such a special surprise.

Will I Fit?

Paige climbs into everything she will fit into. Sometimes even things she doesn't fit in. It's her favorite thing to do.
